Since 1927.

A family enterprise, four generations rooted in Dar es Salaam.

It started with a tailoring shop

In 1927, Mr. Gulamhussain Alibhai established a modest tailoring workshop in Dar es Salaam.

That workshop became Alibhai Store, the foundational business of the Alibhai Group. Across four generations, the family’s work grew to include fabric trading, cashew exports and real estate development.
